While on an east coast tour, Tallahassee blues duo Belmont & Jones stop by Blind Willies on 828 N. Highland Ave. on Wednesday, August 20th. The duo plays a different kind of blues than one might expect, as they go back in time to the beginning of the blues, when Ma Rainey, Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy were making records. Opening the show will be Atlanta blues man Bill Sheffield, a musical cohort of Muddy Waters, Bonnie Raitt, and B.B. King. Doors are at 7 pm and music starts at 9pm.
